3D GENERALIST ANIMATOR POSITION WITH A LEGAL VISUALIZATION FIRM

Iconographics LLC is a legal visualization firm looking for exceptional talent as the firm grows.  The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience with forensic animation and/or medical animation and the capability to work in both of these departments. We are looking for a 3D GENERALIST who is proficient with 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, or Maya.

 

Compensation commensurate with skills and experience within the scale of $55,000-$85,000. Employer-provided health insurance and 401k; sick and vacation time paid. This is a REMOTE POSITION.

 

Education and Experience:
An undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field or extensive experience in this field. 
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in forensic, medical, scientific, architectural, engineering, construction, defense, product design, advertising, cinema, broadcast, or relative field
Expert-level knowledge of 3D design and animation tools such as 3dsMax, Cinema 4D and Maya
Expert-level knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign and After Effects
Must be able to work well within a team that is remote
Understanding of composition, texturing, lighting, rendering, and postproduction
Excellent communication skills
Portfolio reflecting expertise in modeling, texturing, and animating for a variety of applications and creative styles

 

Desired Skills:
Experience with V-Ray
Texturing 3D models with Adobe Substance Painter
Video editing with Adobe Premiere
Strong abilities in Unreal Engine, including Unreal Engine Blueprint, Data Prep and scene optimization
LiDAR Scanning/on-site inspection 
Structured-light 3D scanning
3D modeling from point cloud data
Proficient with a DSLR camera and imagery required for photogrammetry
Photogrammetry (PhotoModeler)
Videogrammetry (3D Equalizer, ScythEyes, PF Track)
Modeling 3D characters with REALLUSION Character Creator
Experience working with capturing MoCAP using Xsens
3D character animation with keyframe and MoCAP data in MotionBuilder, Maya, Cinema 4D, 3dsMax (CAT)
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
Drone pilot license
Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or MAXScript
3D slicer 
RADient DICOM viewer
Film Colorizations 

 

Responsibilities:
3D generalist will report to the Forensic or Medical project manager based on the project assignment.
