Multiple Injury Summary Animation
When a man was in a motorcycle accident with a multitude of injuries that left his life changed forever. Iconographics created a customized animation showing the severity of all the injuries he had sustained during the accident. This animation led to a favorable settlement of $4.75 Million on a $50,000 insurance policy.
CHALLENGE
The jury would need to understand:

Organ Damage from Blunt Force Trauma: We were challenged with showing what a grade two liver laceration, pancreas laceration and multiple lung injuries look like. Instead of showing a black and white axial CT scan to someone with no medical background, we were able to create an accurate animation to show the injury within the body.

Severity and Accuracy of Complex Fractures: We were challenged with building multiple bilateral rib fractures along with complex arm and leg fractures. We used the radiology imaging and reports to build these complex fractures accurately based on the data we were provided. In the final animation we were able to do a side by side comparison to authenticate the 3D recreation on our model.

Personal connection: Creating a custom character that represents exactly what the client looks like can help build a personal connection to the client as they learn about the case. We want the jury to know this is someone's pain and suffering, not only a list of injuries.
VISUAL STRATEGY
Iconographics created an engaging multiple injury animation depicting all of the injuries he sustained during the motorcycle accident. Our team worked very closely with all the emergency and hospital documentation of the injuries. We were able to build custom fractures based on the radiology imaging. By pulling the films into our animation for a direct side by side comparison we were able to authenticate the fractures we created. We also used photo references to create a custom character that looks like their client. This helps drive the point across of this case is affecting someone for the rest of their life and deserve justice.
